Overview
Super normal은 아름다움을 디자인하기보다는 편안해 보이고 기억에 남을 일상적 요소를 디자인합니다. 시선을 사로잡는 화려함이나 의도적으로 꾸민 것은 아니지만, 어딘가 끌리는 그런 매력을 갖고 있습니다. 마치 새로운 디자인을 기대하면서 무언가를 바라볼 때, ‘별로네 혹은 그저 평범하네’ 하는 부정적 첫인상이 ‘근데 썩 나쁘지 않네’로 바뀌는 것과 같다고 말할 수 있습니다. 처음의 감성적 거부감을 극복하다 보면, 육감적으로 왠지 오래 전부터 알고 있었던 듯한 매력을 느끼고, 이상하게도 친숙한 끌림이 있습니다. 이번 프로젝트는 super normal의 개념을 바탕으로 미니멀하며 정돈된 느낌의 레이아웃과 톤으로 구성했습니다.
Rather than designing beauty, super normal designs everyday elements that look comfortable and will be memorable. It's definitely not fancy or eye-catching. It is a charm that is not intentionally decorated but is attracted to something. It's like when you look at something in anticipation of a new design, your negative first impression of ‘not being good or just being normal’ changes to ‘not being too bad’. When overcoming the initial emotional rejection, I feel a charm that I have known for a long time in my sixth sense, and there is a strangely familiar attraction. based on the concept of super normal, this project is composed of minimal and organized layout and tone.
